In this two hour presentation parents (and adults) come together to explore what’s possible if they are calm and loving when their children cry. This class will be interactive, supportive, compassionate and fun.

Can you remember what it felt like when you cried as a child? A child crying is one of the most difficult behaviors for parents to cope with. Most parents try feeding, rocking, singing, and other forms of distraction to get their child to stop crying. Allowing babies and children to cry (while in your loving presence or holding them) instead of trying various ways to stop them has surprising results for the child as well as the parent. It is difficult to hear our child cry. It is even more difficult to be calm and comfortable around crying. How do you let them cry freely? When is it appropriate to do this? It’s possible to be calm, inside and out, when children cry.

In this class we will:

  • discuss the different reasons why we try to stop the crying

  • consider what is possible for you and your child if you’re calm when they cry

  • share the surprising benefits of crying

  • develop a new perspective of your child’s tears and tantrums

  • provide support for taking on the practice of being empathic and accepting tears

  • assist you in getting to a point where you feel calm when a child cries.

Kids Protection Planning Workshop

next dates TBA
2:00pm - 3:30pm

You are invited to attend a FREE WORKSHOP to learn about legal planning for busy parents. Local Mom and Attorney Candice N. Aiston will show you how easy it is to make sure your kids will be taken care of by the people you want in the way you want if you are ever in an accident … and never taken into the arms of strangers.

Even if you have a Will in place, most parents have made at least one of 6 common mistakes. As a Mom and a Personal Family Lawyer® with special training in the legal needs of parents, I can tell you what you need to know to fix these mistakes, if you’ve made them. I’ll show you 9 simple steps every parent must take to ensure the well-being of their little ones.

In this workshop, you will discover how to:

• Be sure your children never spend even one moment in the care of strangers (or anyone you wouldn’t want) if anything happens to you.
• Avoid the expenses and delays of a long, drawn-out court process that would make life difficult for your loved ones if you were in an accident.
• Protect your children’s inheritance from creditors, lawsuits and failed marriages.
• Make sure your hard-earned money is immediately and privately available to your chosen guardians.
• Leave behind more than just your money.

This is a FREE event, but is limited to 10 families only, due to space restrictions. Therefore, registration is required.

Register by calling (503) 235-5150 or email Candice@CandiceAistonLaw.com.
